The study aims to assess the bridge’s condition, structural requirements, and work needed, with a focus on safety, enhancing the bridge’s heritage, and integrating sustainable development principles. Artelia will bring its expertise in bridge asset management and local knowledge to the project. The study is financed by the French Government.
Long Bien bridge
Artelia has been commissioned to study the renovation of the Long Bien Bridge in Hanoi, which was built between 1899 and 1902 and is now in critical condition due to a lack of maintenance and damage from the Vietnam War.
